At 8:30 we drove to the airport and flew to Darwin at 9:00. When we got to Darwin, we got picked up by our Grandma Julie and got to her house we said hi to her dog, Smylie, and went to bed.
4/7
When we woke up, we had bacon and eggs and said good morning to Smylie. We then went to Crocosaurus cove and walked around, we saw 6 big crocodiles and about 100 baby crocs in the same cage. They fed the big crocs and the crocodiles jumped up to grab the food, they also had a large fish tank with sting rays and other fish. There was a small glass tank full of just water and no animals, that you could swim in, that was in front of the baby croc tank and Mez and I had a swim at it was cool.
Later that day, just before the sun set, we went to Mindil beach with a big market full of cloths décor and food. We watched the sunset over the sea, before having dinner, then we had dinner dad and I had a Kabab and it dripped all over my pants and shoes, it was annoying. We walked around for a bit after dinner looking at all the cloths and décor. When we got home, Smylie licked my shoes and pants and I went to bed.

We drove out to Berry Springs and swam in the lagoons and even sat on top of a small waterfall. After that we went to go get ice-cream, from the small shop in the park above the springs, and when we got there it was closed so we went to The Humpty Doo bar, a lot of people were smoking, and I had sausages. We then went home.

We woke up at 5:00 to get ready to drive to Alice Springs and we left at 6:00. We stopped at Mataranka Springs and swam in the lagoons. We also looked at the Rainbow Springs and it was pretty. We ended up putting our towels on our suitcases so they could dry out while we were driving. We kept driving and stopped for the night at Renner Springs, we got dinner there and it took an hour for them to make it because they would make each meal in order and separately. Apart from that the dinner was average and the room was ok.
7/7
We woke up at 6:00 and left at 6:30, while we were driving, we got to see the sun rise. We drove and stopped at Karlu Karlu otherwise known as Devils Marbles and climbed on one of the boulders via a walking path and my back was absolutely covered in flies. It was cool and interesting. We kept driving and stopped at the Ti-Tree’s roadhouse and had lunch. For the rest of the day we drove to Alice Springs. When we got there and said hi to our Aunty Bec, Gus and Rosie (Bec’s dog) gave us a big hello sand Garry (One o Bec’s cats) came out to ask for food. Little (The other cat) didn’t come out to say hi because she was still a bit nervous. We stayed up till 11:00 listening to music and talking. We made our own pizza and I dropped two pieces because Garry stole them.

We woke up and had sandwiches then we went to a camping shop and bought Mez a fly net. We then drove to Simpsons Gap and climbed on some quarts boulders and saw some Rock Wallabies. Later we drove up Anzac Hill and climbed down halfway. We then drove to Hungry Jacks and had some lunch, Mez left her phone there and luckily it was still there when we went back. I then played frisbee with Rosie and practiced for her to sit when I am holding the frisbee.
9/7
I played another game of frisbee with Rosie and she learnt to sit to get the frisbee. We went to an old telegraph station with Bec and Mez and I did a quiz and we I 9.5/11. Mez and I spoke in Morse Code. We bought our mum a Stubby holder and dad bought a magnet. We then drove to Standley Chasm and had some lunch, Bec and I had potato wedges, sour cream and sweet chilly. We then went to Desert Park, we first watched a bird show with cool and well-trained birds, they even trained a curlew. We then walked around and saw many bird cages and a nocturnal room that had cute animals like Bilbies and tiny mice. We left just before they closed, and we were the last people in the park. We got Red Rooster for dinner and I had a chicken burger, peas, corn and chips and gravy.
10/7
We had sandwiches and Garry took two bites out of dad’s sandwiches. I played frisbee for the last time with Rosie. We then drove to the airport and flew to Adelaide. We didn’t have to pick up our bags, so we walked to the city and played on a playground on the way. When we got to the city, we recreated some of the photos we took last year. We then went to have lunch and went to Haigh’s Chocolate Shop and bought some freckles and box of chocolates for our mum because it was their anniversary. We then got a bus to the airport and flew home. When we got home, mum picked us up and we talked while we went home. When we got home, I picked u Chester and said hi, then we went to bed.
12/7
In the afternoon we went to school of rock (The musical) and I got a shirt, Mez got drumsticks. The show was funny and cool and at the end the 4 th wall was removed, and the audience became the audience in the play.
